🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Facebook Horror – Woman with Violent Rap Sheet Accused of Posting Graphic Death Photos, Triggering Suicide
Crime Vault Magazine
A Texas woman operating a disturbing Facebook page dedicated to sharing graphic images of dead bodies has reportedly crossed every line, violating platform rules and devastating families in the process.
Maria Virginia Figueroa Maldonado, also known by variations including Maria Virgi Figueroa-Maldonado and Maria V Figueroa, is accused of running the page under a false identity from her home at 115 Lost Pines Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602. Originally from Puerto Rico, she allegedly filled the page with postmortem photos, but one post allegedly pushed a grieving daughter to suicide after she saw graphic images of her deceased father.

The page reportedly went too far when it posted images of the deceased son of a District Attorney , an act that has sparked outrage and calls for accountability. Facebook’s strict policies against non-consensual graphic violence and harassment appear to have been repeatedly ignored—until tragedy struck.

A Troubled History of Violence
Maldonado’s criminal record paints a picture of someone no stranger to conflict:
- PENAL CODE-22.01 – ASSAULT (Date of Offense: 6/21/2015, Case: 1CO-0815-15) – Amended judgment.
- Multiple TERRORISTIC THREAT OF FAMILY/HOUSEHOLD convictions, including:
- 10/23/2025 (Case: 60318) – Convicted.
- 1/29/2025 (Case: 60,318) – Convicted.
- Additional complaints and probable cause filings around the same period (DCPC-25-051).
- AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) – Felony charges dating back to 2009 in Florida (e.g., Case 2009-CF-011519-A-O and related).
- Traffic violations including disability parking misuse and minor speeding.
Authorities have linked her to these offenses across Texas and prior residences, highlighting a pattern of threats and violence, particularly within households. Now, a full criminal investigation is underway against Maldonado. Puerto Rico police are actively working to determine how she obtained the graphic photo of the dead man, raising serious questions about potential leaks from official sources or other illegal means of acquiring sensitive crime scene or morgue images.
Facebook’s strict policies against non-consensual graphic violence, harassment, and exploitation of deceased individuals appear to have been repeatedly ignored — until tragedy struck.

The Human Cost
Posting graphic images of the dead without permission or context is not only against Facebook’s rules—it can cause profound psychological harm. In this case, sources say the daughter of one victim saw the unauthorized photo of her father and took her own life shortly after. The pain inflicted on families already mourning is immeasurable.
The Machado family’s loss was similarly exploited for what appears to be shock value or attention on the page.
Crime Vault reached out for comment but has not yet received a response from Maldonado. Facebook has been notified of the violations and is expected to act swiftly on the page.
This case raises serious questions about platform responsibility, the spread of graphic content, and how individuals with violent histories exploit social media.
We will continue to follow this developing story. Families deserve justice, and those who profit from or revel in others’ grief must be held accountable.
