BREAKING: Puerto Rico Police Officer Under Investigation for Planting a Gun and Shooting Man Three Times in the Back Inside an Ambulance
Crime Vault Magazine Exclusive
San Juan, Puerto Rico – A Puerto Rico Police officer is facing serious scrutiny following allegations that he planted a firearm on a suspect and then shot the man three times in the back while inside an ambulance.
According to sources familiar with the incident, the officer involved has been identified as Agent José J. Delgado. The shooting reportedly occurred under the supervision of Capitán Teddy Morales.
The allegations include claims of evidence tampering—specifically planting a gun to justify the use of lethal force—after the suspect was already in custody and being transported for medical treatment. The victim was shot multiple times from behind inside the ambulance by the cop.
This case adds to the long-standing concerns regarding use-of-force incidents, accountability, and potential misconduct within the Puerto Rico Police Department. Federal oversight from the U.S. Department of Justice has historically monitored the department for patterns of excessive force, false reporting, and civil rights violations.
No official charges have been announced as of this report, but an internal affairs investigation is reportedly underway, with possible involvement from federal authorities if evidence of fabrication.
