PENTAGON “ALIEN TECH AND BODIES” CLAIM REACHES HARVARD’S UAP CHAIR — AND IT’S STILL JUST A WHISPER
By Crime Vault Magazine | October 7, 2026
The man the White House put in charge of sorting real UAP evidence from noise just put a bombshell on the record. He did not say he saw it. He said somebody told him somebody else said it.
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb, chair of the UAP Science Advisory Council, wrote this week that a guest he met about two days earlier told him a top Pentagon official claims the United States already holds alien technology and related biological material.
His words, published October 6 on Medium and repeated on X:
“One of the people I met two days ago told me that he recently heard from an official at the highest level in the Pentagon that the U.S. is in possession of alien technology and related biological material.”
No name for the guest. No name for the official. No photo. No lab report. No chain of custody. Three mouths between the public and the alleged evidence.
What the chair is actually saying
Loeb is not announcing a landing. He is arguing for access.
He says the Office of the Director of National Intelligence tasked him to chair the council in service of the White House, the Pentagon, the intelligence community, and the FBI. On Jesse Watters Primetime on October 5 he called the work a privilege and a work in progress. Asked if he had found an alien, he said it is still in progress.
His plan has two doors.
Door one: look at the best data the government already has — footage, materials, or intact craft if David Grusch’s 2023 claims are true. If that data proves non-human technology beyond a reasonable doubt, he says the case is solved and the president can tell the country.
Door two: if the files are inconclusive, collect new data with better sensors, in partnership with the Pentagon. If everything turns out human, he says the time was still spent on national security.
The guest story sits in the middle of that plan. Loeb’s point is simple. Fuzzy videos from the government’s PURSUE reporting system waste time. A physical sample does not. Material composition, structure, or function could show whether an object was not made by humans. Biological material is the other half of the old claim: non-human remains recovered with the craft.
He has not said he was officially briefed on any of it. He has not said he touched it. He wrote that access “will save time.”
The room where he heard it
The timing lines up with a Los Angeles weekend. Loeb says that last weekend he, Peter Skafish, and Stanford professor Garry Nolan visited Lyn Lear and XPRIZE founder Peter Diamandis. They pushed for a $10 million XPRIZE for whoever produces conclusive evidence of technology not made by humans. In a related essay he called the source of the Pentagon story “one of the most distinguished guests.”
That is the circle. UAP researchers, a prize chairman, a Hollywood name. Not a signed Pentagon memo.
Why this matters anyway
For years Loeb played the hard gate. Grusch-style stories about recovered craft and “biologics” only counted, in his view, if scientists could examine a sample. Now the scientist chairing the administration’s UAP review is publicly repeating the same class of claim, still unnamed, still secondhand.
That is a shift in who is carrying the rumor, not a shift in the evidence.
The Pentagon has not confirmed the guest’s account. No document has been released. Loeb’s own Galileo Project cameras, in a first triangulation test from one week in late May 2026, separated tracks into ordinary aircraft and small clouds. No anomalous object in that sample.
Two possibilities stay on the table, and Loeb says both matter. Either some of these reports are black projects — American or foreign — and that is a national-security problem. Or some of them are not human, and that is the biggest scientific claim in history. A rumor from a dinner does not decide which one is true.
The question Crime Vault is left with
Who was the guest? Who was the “highest level” official? If the material exists, which office has custody, and why is the chair of the science council still hearing about it through a visitor instead of a briefing?
Until a sample reaches a lab that can publish the composition, the structure, and the chain of custody, this remains what it was on the page: a distinguished guest, a Pentagon official, and a story that has not been tested.
Stay on it.
